That is why we have technology or more specifically, an image editing program called Photoshop. And our tutorial today will show you how to turn a digital photo into a nice pencil sketch image. LGFW aka TFW aka FML!

So last week almost killed me.
NO lie, it's taken me this long to recuperate and not dream on being late for a show, wondering where my pass was and trying to figure out what the heck I was going to wear!
It was definately an experience like no other and congratulations to the FDCC on putting on amazing productions each and every day. For AMAZING pictures beyond anything I took, check out the FDCC's final summary of the entire week.

Well, the 25th season of LG Fashion Week Beauty by L'Oréal Paris is over. I'm already thinking about 26!

Fancy Fonts For Poster Design

One of the things I love to do is to collect fonts. If that is one of your passion too, then I hope you'll enjoy this new selection of fonts I've compiled exclusively for the readers of this blog. Some of the fonts are designed to be in large scale. These fonts are great for big poster design where you can appreciate each detail, every curve and corner of the font. They could be useful for your

Estelle

Holy. CRAP.
Naturally stuning.

Place of Origin:
Caen, France

Date of Birth:
February 2

Mother Agency:
Exception Model Agency

"Discovered by agency Exception, Estelle certainly will not be an exception to their rule of finding some of France’s top models (think Constance, Charlotte, Jen & Leah). Blue eyed and beguiling, Estelle has a look that is somehow both enigmatic and innocent. A lover of basketball and donuts, and signed with Elite Paris and Milan, as well as Model Management in Germany, this quintessentially French beauty is very relatable and totally fresh. Estelle has the potential to be absolutely stellar."" via

I've been posting PSD file every Tuesday for two weeks in a row now. I might as well start calling this event PSD Tuesday..like that song Ruby Tuesday. {Well, to be honest I wasn't really familiar with that song until someone sang it on American Idol}. Enough with my rambling. I'm calling today's color effect, Dark Chocolate. Apply this effect to the right photo, you'll see the similarity with

For those interested in color-editing your image in Photoshop, here's another Psd file for your download with more to come in the near future. So, if haven't been a follower to this blog, you might consider of becoming one, because we only post awesome stuffs here and you wouldn't want to miss that, do you? I'm calling today's coloring, Summer Sunshine. I believe you can figure out the reason

Oh Wow! I'm back after a very long day, but it was well worth my achy feet.

The first day of LG Fashion Week started off by the doors opening at 6pm to a large crowd of Toronto's most fashionably dressed insiders and their entire entourages. Heels galore! And attempting to climb metal bleachers nonetheless!

the new venue, David Pecaut Square, is set up in a tent fashion presumably similar to the New York shows, but I must admit I did miss the larger Heritage Court venue for a minute there. So much room and places to take pictures! However, then I saw this venue offered free food, and I felt better.

Everyone looked amazing and dressed to the nines. Especially the FDCC workers who briskly shuffled us around while looking chic in all black attire. In case you didn't know already, fur is in for fall, as was confirmed tonight by the chic fashionistas casually taking their seats by twirling on the runway a few times beforehand. I was personally too shy and felt all eyes on me when walking to my seat, particularly during the Holt Renfrew show, so putting on a pre-show for the awaiting audience was not in the cards.

Plus, said audience didn't help! Internationally renowned individuals such as Suzanne Rogers, the Weston family, Jeanne Becker, Glenn Baxter, Stacie McKenzie, Keshia Chante, Yasmin Warsame, and Jully Black sat front row to LG's opening shows. Organizations represented included IMG, America's Next Top Model, Holt Renfrew, KentonMagazine, Fashion Television, CityTV, Flare Magazine and many many others. My mind is a blur of all the incredible people I saw and had a chance to talk to.

I got to take a quick sneak peak at the models backstage beforehand. This is their view going onto the catwalk. Slightly daunting, but the models seemed uber relaxed listening to music and sitting in hair and makeup. Speshhh, we're professionals, they all probably thought. I quickly grabbed my seat next to this:

...and away we went! Holt Renfrew started things off with an awesome runway, an elegant speech by Robin Kay (though hard to see who was speaking through the letters) and pounding music. Somehow, the "Canada Cool" theme was more than I expected, considering I only factored in a weather interpretation. Silly me, these are creative types, look deeper! Looking up into the media balconies, I could envision a Canadian Kelly Coutrone hard at work putting this all together.
To better assist in my recap I will add my favourite photos from the FDCC facebook to not annoy the blogesphere with my blackberry photos (next time I will not be too vain to wear a camera around my neck!).
Holt Renfrew

The music was a fun mashup of Beyonce's "Who Run the World (Girls)" and Beastie Boys "To All the Girls." It was an exciting start that made me want to check out some of the  collections at Holts. However, none of the designers Holts displayed impressed me as much as...

Arthur Mendonca

Arthur Mendonca's show was fresh and colourful, mixing and matching brights in an Egyptian feel. Think Cleopatra at a rave! It's no wonder Rhianna and Keshia Chante and huge fans of his pieces.

These were two incredible shows I got to see and I am very grateful to have participated in such a well orchestrated elite fashion presentation here in my city. The 25th season of LG is off to a great start, and I can't wait to attend more shows during the week! Stay tuned!

Can't wait for Toronto Fashion Week (LGFW) to blow everyone out of the water!
This week is going to be awesome, stay tuned!

Terry Richardson classed it up for British Vogue and left his usual vulgarity at home.
I quite it enjoy it actually. He couldn't resist putting in some food (craving a burger anyone) but Terry will be Terry.

LG Fashion Week

Stay tuned for updates on Toronto's one and only LG Fashion Week happening all of next week. With an industry pass in hand, and almost a week off, I am beyond excited!

The "Canada Cool" theme, outside tents a la NYFW, and AMAZING swag bags (previewed below) are all ready to go!

Follow us: @model-misbehave on twitter for updates throughout the week. MEDIA pass people, I hope to get all up in there and capture everything. Only thing left is...what to wear?!

This post is for photographers (professional or not) who love to post-process their photos in Photoshop. It is also for die-hard fans who spend their free time downloading their favorite artist's pictures from the internet and make fanarts out of them. Whatever your purpose is, I hope you're gonna like the outcome of this coloring on your photo. It's not complicated and I know you want to try it.

Like every other post, it's like an obligation for me to type in a short introduction. Sure, you can go ahead, look at the picture and figure out instantly what this post is all about. But then, it wouldn't look so nice in terms of presentation or space utilization right?. So, today's tutorial is about creating borders in Photoshop. We are gonna learn to make two types of borders. The first one
